Personality: Cautious but kind, Darek believe that sacrifice to save the many is necessary when it comes to his team. He will do anything to make sure they stay alive. He is like a friendly giant who's anger can never be short fused by small things.
Favorite Quote: "You know History is the same...we just developed the blood stains further than our ancestors."
Past: Darek was the runt in the spartan program when he was brought in, many admins wondered why Halsey picked him. They wanted to get rid of Darek but Halsey came up to Darek and told him that Chelsey was his sister. The Admins saw this as a lost attempt when suddenly over the week period, Darek worked harder, trained harder. They knew then why Halsey chose Darek as he reached up with the other Spartans and soon was placed with Chelsey in a team, only showing how well the two fought side by side in combat.
During their graduation ceremony, Darek laid his eyes on Miranda Keyes at first it was only a first glance but soon the two would always run into each other and though Halsey told Miranda to keep her status with the spartans as soldiers, Miranda fell in love with Darek and their love was kept a secret from the world.
When Reach was under attack Darek said his goodbyes to Miranda and left with his Sister and his other team mates to head off and protect the people.

Sounds a lot like my character, Casey ^^
She was considered a runt, as she was practically the weakest of the Spartan II candidates. No-one knew why Halsey picked her, and Halsey was branded insane for going ahead with her augmentation. Casey almost died during the augmentation, and was stuck in a coma for several months. even though she is the shortest spartan II, standing in at aroun 6 foot five, she is one of the mosty gutsy, often known to take down brutes and elites in hand to hand combat.

not short enough XD Clair and Chelsey and a few others are way shorter than Casey lol Adrain is the tallest one in my story besides Oldus which I think I fixed his height
